Transfer: A great player – Darren Bent wants Arsenal to sign new Chelsea star

Former Tottenham Hotspur striker Darren Bent has said he would have liked Arsenal to sign Pedro Neto from Chelsea.

Chelsea have agreed a deal with Wolves to sign Neto for £54million this summer.

Neto was previously linked with Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur but is now heading to Stamford Bridge.

“I would have liked Arsenal to have him. Neto, because he’s a great player. But he’s going to join a deep Chelsea squad,” Bent told talkSPORT (via The Boot Room).

“On that side, they already have Sterling playing on the left, they have Mudryk playing on the left, and now Neto.”
