US Elections: Donald Trump Announces Debate Schedule with Kamala Harris

Donald Trump announced on X that he would face Kamala Harris in the next three debates for the presidency of the UNITED STATESThe first debate, scheduled for September 4, will be hosted by Fox News and will take place in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.
Trump referred to the venue as “beautiful Harrisburg” on his social media account on Truth Social, which wrote: “The first debate with Kamala Harris, for President of the United States of America, will take place with FoxNews on September 4, 2024, LIVE from beautiful Harrisburg, Pennsylvania.”
The second debate will take place on September 10 at Independence Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The event will be broadcast by ABC News, which Trump has derisively dubbed “Fake News ABC,” with anchor David Muir as moderator. In the same broadcast, he attacked ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, whom he mockingly dubbed “George Slopadopoulos.”

The third and final debate is scheduled for September 25 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. NBC will broadcast the debate, with Lester Holt as moderator. Trump has suggested that further details will be announced later.
Trump added: “I can’t wait to see Kamala at all three debates! DJT,” signaling his anticipation for the upcoming showdowns.
