Chainsaw Man Comes to Universal Studios Japan with Pochita Food, Plushies and Thrill-Filled Music

The interior of the Pochita kitchen is as unique as its exterior.

Universal Studios Japan is no stranger to partnering with popular anime franchises, and it’s about to salute its latest partner from the world of Japanese animation: The Chainsaw Man.

The Osaka theme park first announced that it was partnering with the occult action game earlier this summer, and it has now released more details on what fans can expect. During the collaboration, The Hollywood Dream – The JourneyUSJ’s musically themed roller coaster will take passengers along its thrilling high-speed ride to the sound of “Relax” THE The Chainsaw Man opening theme by singer Kenishi Yonezu, as well as epic audio of Chainsaw Man’s battle with his nemesis Samurai Sword.

THE The Chainsaw Man The sounds will be available on the standard Hollywood Dream-The Ride as well as its reverse configuration, known as the Hollywood Dream – The Tour – Backdrop.

Since each seat has its own speakers and allows individual passengers to choose from a variety of soundtracks, riding Hollywood Dream-The Ride with friends or family members who aren’t The Chainsaw Man fans will not be a problem. On the other hand, for those who love anime but hate roller coasters, there’s always The Chainsaw Man fun to be had in the form of special food and related products.

On the edible entertainment side, Universal Studios Japan will sell Steamed Pochita Buns (or “Pochita-man,” if you ask for them in Japanese). This version of the beloved snack staple looks like an adorable Chainsaw Devil. While pork is the most common filling for steamed buns in Japan, The pochita is instead stuffed with bacon and creamy corn.This little bread therefore promises to be unique in appearance and taste. Chainsaw Churritos (as USJ calls its churros), which have a sweet and tangy flavor blood orange flavor.

Finally, Universal Studios will offer Pochita Plush Clipswhich can clip onto your bag strap or shirt sleeve as a silent signal of your The Chainsaw Man fandom.

THE The Chainsaw Man The collaboration kicks off on September 6, with the Hollywood Dream-The Ride lineup set to run through November 4. That means it overlaps with the attraction’s new lineup. Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba soundtrack, so hardcore anime fans will probably want to make the trip twice to get both experiences.
