Alien: Romulus is coming soon. Here’s where you can watch all the Alien movies streaming first

Alien: Romulus, which hits theaters on August 16, will take audiences back into the universe that Ridley Scott has built. It’s been 45 years since the first film kicked off the franchise, and a new vision is in order. Whether you’re planning a marathon or visiting the franchise for the first time, take note: All of the Alien movies are available to stream now.

Alien was released in theaters in 1979 and stars Sigourney Weaver as Ellen Ripley. The film follows the crew of the Nostromo, a commercial spaceship, as they investigate a distress call in space. They discover an aggressive alien species plaguing a dead spaceship, turning their rescue mission into a fight for survival.

Weaver reprised her role as Ripley in three of the franchise’s eight installments: James Cameron’s Aliens, David Fincher’s Alien 3 and Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s Alien Resurrection.

Fede Álvarez (Evil Dead and Don’t Breathe in 2013) directed Alien: Romulus, a standalone story set between the events of Alien and Aliens. It should be noted that Fede’s sequel and Noah Hawley’s Alien TV series will not connect.

Whether you’re looking to refresh your memory on the franchise before Alien: Romulus hits theaters, or you want to plan an epic Alien-themed binge, this is where you can stream every installment — and yes, that includes the Alien vs. Predator movies.
