Rita Ora Makes Surprise Appearance at Disney World as She Performs and Announces New Land Opening as Florida Theme Park Reveals Expansion Plans

Rita Ora made a surprise appearance at Disney World and performed to announce the opening of a new land as the Florida theme park revealed plans for a new expansion on Sunday.

The For You singer, 33, took to the stage in Florida at the opening of the new theme park expansion, Villains Land, at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

Wearing a sheer dress and sporting curly blonde hair, Rita sang Trust In Me while surrounded by Disney performers dressed in green.

To accessorize her outfit, the pop star took to the stage with a gold bracelet wrapped around her arm and a myriad of bangles.

Work is already underway on the new land and is expected to include two attractions, restaurants and shops.

Rita was then seen beaming on the red carpet as she flashed a cheesy smile while posing with Mickey Mouse.

Shaboozey also rocked the room with a new rendition of Life Is a Highway to also announce a Cars-themed area.

Pixar Animation Studios’ popular Cars theme park will feature two all-new attractions that will take guests into the wilderness beyond Radiator Springs: a thrilling off-road rally race and a family-friendly attraction.

Construction of this area will begin early next year.

Josh D’Amaro, Chairman of Disney Experiences, hosted this extraordinary musical celebration as he unveiled the future of Disney Parks and Cruise Ships at D23: The Ultimate Disney Fan Event presented by Visa.

Among the many announcements were plans for four new cruise ships and details on six new themed lands, including Monsters, Inc., Cars, Indiana Jones, Encanto, Avatar, The Lion King and classic Disney Villains.

Josh said: “Disney Experiences is on an accelerated path of ambitious growth and innovation.

“With so many great Disney stories to tell, we are excited to bring an unprecedented number of new projects to life in the near future, whether in our theme parks, on our cruise ships or through our partnership with Epic Games in the digital space.”

Josh announced plans to create 14 new attractions featuring these stories and many others, such as The Avengers and Spider-Man.

He also revealed plans for their first-ever Coco-themed attraction, which will invite visitors to join Miguel on a journey through the Land of the Dead.

Among the five new shows and nighttime spectaculars coming to Disney Parks around the world is “Disney Starlight.”

This is an all-new nighttime parade coming to the Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World Resort.
