The most desired cozy game on Steam will launch in September

Ever since I saw her adorable castle doodle clips on social media, I’ve been in desperate need Little ClearingThe casual little construction game has thus won over many fans of comfortable games, rising much higher in the list of Most Wanted Steam Games (19th place at the time of writing) than I usually see cozy games achieve. It won’t be on our wishlists for much longer now as Pounce Light has just announced that it will be launching on September 23rd.

If you somehow missed it, Tiny Glade comes from the Townscaper school of small building games, but it has a plot More editing tools. While Townscaper kept things fairly simple, Tiny Glade leans more heavily on some of The Sims’ highly customizable features. It still has that playful procedural quality, though, where half the fun is discovering how a build changes based on the things you stick together. A path leading to a wall will spawn an arch to allow the path to continue, for example, while shortening the roof of a castle segment will turn it into a rampart.

The new Tiny Glade trailer reveals some never-before-seen details of our adorable dioramas, like water features and ducks that appear in them, which you can of course pet. It also shows off a very large snowy castle, which I’m sure gave me goosebumps.

When I tried its demo back in June, it was one of my lingering questions: how far can we build? I really enjoyed playing in the very small buildable area we were given, but I’m overly ambitious at heart and wanted to expand into massive castle builds. I’m perfectly capable of dealing with all the tiny details of a menacing castle. I’m now counting down the days until I can completely lose myself in its tiny cobblestone streets.
