Nike Air Footscape Woven “Rainbow” FB1959-002

The Nike Footscape line is one of the most unique to come out of Beaverton. Born in the 1990s out of an obsessive focus on ergonomic design, the series has garnered a cult following among consumers with a penchant for unique footwear thanks to a variety of woven designs adjacent to loafers.

Nike brought back the lifestyle-focused Footscape Woven in 2022 and has since released a handful of new looks, using unique materials like denim, faux cowhide, and reptile-inspired leathers to reintroduce the model to today’s consumers. At the same time, the Beaverton brand is also looking to revisit the tried-and-true aesthetic of the Footscape of yesteryear. First previewed at the latest SNKRS Showcase, the Footscape Woven will feature the line’s signature “Rainbow” colorway for fall/winter 2024.

The Footscape Woven Chukka “Rainbow” pack from 2012 is the last we’ve seen from this collection, with the same vibrant colorway decorating separate black and white pairs. Both remain highly sought after by collectors to this day, with secondary market sales regularly reaching the $400 mark. The upcoming Footscape Woven “Rainbow” pairs colorful fabric with black suede on the upper, all underfoot with a combination of white and black midsoles and outsoles.
