Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie prove they’re best friends again while filming their new series Simple Life

Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie proved just how close they still are on Thursday night.

The reality TV stars were spotted arm in arm outside a Los Angeles theater, dressed to the nines.

Paris and Nicole both wore midnight black dresses that made them look ready for a ball.

And the Beverly Hills natives were adorned with diamond jewelry while wearing their blonde hair up in whimsical styles.

Another matching theme was their black sunglasses.

They were filming Paris And Nicole The Encore for the new series The Simple Life in Beverly Hills outside the Saban Theatre.

The ladies were holding arms on the sidewalk.

The wife of Good Charlotte singer Joel Madden, 45, wore a halter dress with ruffles around the neck.

And Paris, 43, wore a strapless dress with an oversized skirt and long opera gloves.

Richie filmed his new series with Hilton this year.

The duo have teamed up to film a reunion special of their reality TV show and they want to involve their fans in the “iconic” celebrations.

Paris shared on Instagram: “Hey guys, I just got back from filming with Nicole. As some of you may know, we are having a special reunion to celebrate 20 years of our show, ‘The Simple Life.’

“It’s been a lot of fun and we’re planning something very, very special and I thought the best place to find the people I want to be a part of is here.

“So basically Nicole and I are planning something iconic and fun. It’s going to be epic and I want to invite the biggest super fans. So I thought I’d come on here and ask you to make a video.

“We were just talking about this today and how much we love all the fans. We love watching your TikToks and when you use the different sounds from the show and dress up as us for Halloween.

“This show was so special. Best memories ever.

“It’s such an important part of our lives and we love our fans so much that we wanted you to be a part of it.”

Although The Simple Life is a reality show, Paris has previously insisted that she is playing a character and gets frustrated when people assume that is how she behaves in real life.

She told PEOPLE: “I knew what I was doing, but the world didn’t know, so it was kind of frustrating for me to be perceived that way because that’s not who I am at all.

“But it was such an incredible and entertaining show that I just considered it entertainment.

“Of course, I’ve grown as a person. I’m an adult now, but being judged and having so many misconceptions based on a character I had invented myself was frustrating.

“At the same time, I built a huge brand through it. So I don’t really regret my choice and I’m happy that people can finally see this film.”

Paris and Nicole, 42, starred in the series – which followed them on their escapades in small rural American towns – from 2003 to 2005.
