RFK Jr.: ‘No Commitment’ to Serve in Trump Administration After Endorsement

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. said he has been offered “no commitment” to serve in a potential Trump administration. The announcement came after Kennedy withdrew from the 2024 presidential campaign and endorsed former President Donald Trump.

Fox News Sunday Host Shannon Bream asked Kennedy if he would agree to step down and support Trump in exchange for a cabinet position or other role in a Trump administration, The hill reported.

“There was no commitment. But you know, I met with President Trump, his family, his closest advisers, and we made a general commitment to work together,” Kennedy responded.

Kennedy reportedly sought a cabinet position regardless of who won in November. He also reportedly sought to meet with Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic presidential nominee, about such an opportunity.
