MEMU trains canceled on Tuesday

Nashik: Tea Bhusawal divisional railway has announced the cancellation of Mainline Electrical Multiple Unit (MEMU) trains on August 27.
The Igatpuri-Bhusawal and Bhusawal-Igatpuri MEMU, Deolali-Bhusawal and Bhusawal-Deolali MEMU, Nashik-Badnera and Badnera-Nashik MEMU trains have been cancelled.
This apart, the Gorakhpur-Mumbai LTT Express train will be delayed by one hour, Dibrugarh-LTT by 45 minutes, LTT-Gorakhpur Express by 1 hour 45 minutes, Sai Nagar Shirdi-Kalka Express by 1 hour 45 minutes, LTT-Bhagalpur Express by 1 hour, and Mumbai-Lucknow Express by 30 minutes, authorities said.
The railways said that ‘non-interlocking’ work is being done for the laying the third track at Kajgaon railway station in the Bhusawal division. This means they would need time to stop the movement of trains in the area.

Nearly 150 exam candidates were onboard. Government buses were arranged to transport them. By 7.20am, the train was reconnected and continued its journey.
