Kangana Ranaut gears up for her second film as a director Emergency where she plays Indira Gandhi and the film is slated to hit the theatres on September 6. In an interview with Siddharth Kanan, she revealed how she said no to actors like Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor when they offered her films.

She said, “People are very nice to me. People are very nice to me in that way. Because I think they recognise somewhere that Kangana doesn’t speak for her own little gain. For example, when Salman asked me to do Bajrangi Bhaijaan, I said, ‘Yes kya role tumne mujhe diya (What kind of role did you give me)?

She added, “He then called me for Sultan. So he said, ‘Ab isse zyada kya role chahiye. Heroines ka aesa hi role hota hai (What better role do you want? Heroines get such roles).
