QOTSA Cancels All Remaining 2024 Shows As Josh Homme Receives ‘Essential Medical Care’

Queens Of The Stone Age have cancelled their remaining 2024 shows so frontman Josh Homme can recover from the emergency surgery that led to the cancellation of a string of European dates earlier this summer.

“QOTSA regrets to announce the cancellation and/or postponement of all remaining 2024 shows. Josh had no choice but to prioritize his health and receive essential medical care for the remainder of the year. Josh and the QOTSA family are so grateful for your support and the time we were able to spend together over the past year. I hope to see you all again in 2025.”

Ticket holders for the band’s main concerts will be contacted by the point of purchase with further information on the new dates.

QOTSA The end is Nero The tour was initially interrupted in early July, when eight shows were cancelled as Homme returned to the United States for surgery. The band subsequently pulled out of seven other European festival dates scheduled for August.

The remaining cancelled dates are in North America. Details of affected dates below.

In 2010, Homme suffered complications during leg surgery and had to spend three months in bed recovering. In April 2023, he revealed that he had undergone further surgery after being diagnosed with an unspecified cancer.
