Family of Bridgeport murder victim demands justice two weeks after fatal shooting

The family of Pablo Morales, 45, gathered Sunday at the Greene Homes community in Bridgeport to demand justice.

“I want the person who shot and killed my brother to pay for his crime,” said Jeannie, who asked that her last name not be used.

“You can’t just shoot and kill someone and not be held accountable,” she said.

Morales, who lived in the complex, was found fatally shot in a hallway on the fifth floor of Building 4 on Aug. 14, police said.

“He was a beautiful person – a father and brother who was deeply loved by all of us,” Jeannie said.

Police say Morales, who was hit by several bullets, was the victim of a targeted attack.
