Elderly Bowling Green, Kentucky man found dead, teen arrested for murder

BROWNSVILLE, Ky. — An elderly Bowling Green, Kentucky, man is found dead in an Edmonson County home.

Kentucky State Police were called to assist the Edmonson County Sheriff’s Office at the scene of the crash on The Bridge Road early Sunday. They said Ernest Kline, 83, was found dead in a bed. He had been shot.

Police arrested Damien Worrel, 18, on charges of murder and robbery in the death of Kline.

Worrel is imprisoned in Hart County.

The investigation is ongoing.
