Man charged with attempted murder after stabbing

A man has been charged following reports of a knife attack at an East Yorkshire seaside resort.

Humberside Police said officers were called to a property in Cliff Road, Hornsea, shortly before 1pm BST on Monday.

A man found injured on the property was taken to hospital where his condition is not believed to be life-threatening, police added.

Ian Pemberton, 62, of Cliff Road, has been charged with attempted murder and was due to appear before magistrates on Tuesday.
