Man charged with murder in Linden Street homicide

In a news release, Cincinnati police said officers responded at 11:45 a.m. Monday to the 2500 block of Linden Street for a report of an injured person.

At the scene, they discovered Troy Rudd, 60, injured by blunt force trauma. First responders pronounced him dead at the scene.

Police arrested Joseph Rudd on murder charges in connection with the death of Troy Rudd. He was booked into the Hamilton County Justice Center later in the afternoon.

It is not known whether the men are related.
