Arsenal boss Edu Gaspar predicts former Hale End talent will ‘shine’ this season in nine-word message

Arsenal boss Edu Gaspar predicts former Hale End talent will ‘shine’ this season in nine-word message

Arsenal sporting director Edu Gaspar has now sent a very personal message to one player.

Edu Gaspar will be extremely busy in the coming days.

Arsenal are still hoping to wrap up some late business this summer transfer window.

Mikel Merino will be joining Arsenal very soon, and there could be a number of departures planned as well.

Crystal Palace are set to sign Eddie Nketiah. The striker is set to continue his professional career and will have a great chance of establishing himself as a star at Selhurst Park.

Furthermore, Ian Wright has urged Edu to bring in another striker before the transfer window closes.

Arsenal manager Edu sends message to his son

Edu took time out of his busy schedule to wish his son, Luigi Gaspar, good luck for the new campaign.

Like his father once did for the Gunners, Gaspar, 20, plays in midfield. He is now under contract with Championship club Watford.

He was previously on Arsenal’s books, in the Hale End academy system, between 2019 and 2022.

Edu recently took to Instagram to write a short message to his son: “Let’s go son… The season has arrived!!! I love you!!!”

Young Gaspar is yet to make his senior debut but will be hoping to make a breakthrough at Vicarage Road this season, and clearly has the backing of his father to do just that.

Arsenal stars contact Emile Smith Rowe

Edu isn’t the only Arsenal player to have recently delivered a message via social media.

The likes of Bukayo Saka, Declan Rice, William Saliba, Aaron Ramsdale and club captain Martin Odegaard have all sent their congratulations to Emile Smith Rowe after he opened his account for Fulham.

Smith Rowe was a popular figure at the Emirates Stadium, coming through the Hale End academy before producing moments of magic for the first team.

Arsenal fans will be hoping he can stay fit and get his career back on track at Craven Cottage.
