Dabo Swinney Announces Change to His Weekly Radio Show Regarding Phone Calls

Dabo Swinney is making some changes to the format of his weekly radio show in Clemson, South Carolina.

In the past, Swinney has allowed (and even encouraged) fans to call into the show and ask questions about the Tigers, their upcoming schedule, etc. But that is no longer the case. Swinney is now removing live calls from the show and will only be able to submit questions via text/email.

The first show of the season is scheduled for tonight at 8 p.m. ET.

Those who are just devastated The blame for this news can at least partly be placed on a certain Tyler from Spartanburg, who infuriated Swinney last season with his criticism following a 4-4 start to the season, including losses to Duke, Florida State, NC State and Miami.

Swinney practically delivered a monologue about his disdain for Tyler’s statements and his attitude toward himself, stating among other things, “you’re not going to talk to me like I’m 12.” Here’s a link to the full audio if you want to refresh your memory:

Clemson is back in the race for the ACC this season alongside Miami and, well, maybe Florida State? The Seminoles were supposed to be major players for the ACC this season before losing to Georgia Tech in Week 0.
