Florida Panthers Debut Stanley Cup-Inspired Center Ice Logo for Upcoming Season

The Florida Panthers will have some exciting new championship features inside Amerant Bank Arena next season.

The ones we’ve known for a few months now will be hanging above the ice when opening night rolls around.

Another Stanley Cup-related change we just learned won’t be happening above the ice. It’ll be happening on the ice.

Over the past week, Amerant Bank Arena staff have been preparing the arena floor for hockey.

This process begins with freshly painting the floor that will be directly under the ice with bright white paint, then adding all of the faceoff lines and circles.

Inside the large faceoff circle at center ice is where each team paints its logo.

The Panthers are going for something a little different this season.

We’ve seen many teams post photos where they completely fill the circle with their club logo, and Florida will do the same.

The Panthers will recreate the interior of the Stanley Cup bowl, taking the embossed design inside the Cup and painting it onto the ice to appear like rays of sunshine.

It’s an incredibly unique look that builds on what the Vegas Golden Knights did last season, creating a Cup-inspired center ice design.

Shortly after, the Panthers released a photo of the logo, confirming that the photo above was authentic.

The team also released some information about the logo and its origin.

Last season, the Panthers used the team’s special 30th anniversary logo at center ice, but they are now returning to the team’s shield logo.

Fans will have a chance to see the new championship center ice logo when Florida opens the preseason with a doubleheader against the Nashville Predators on Sept. 22 in Sunrise.

The Panthers will also host a pair of preseason games against Carolina on Sept. 28 and Tampa Bay on Sept. 30.

The 2024-25 regular season opening night against the Boston Bruins is scheduled for October 8.
