Two men arrested in alleged murder of northern Arizona woman

SELIGMAN, AZ (AZ Family) — Two men have been arrested in connection with the murder of a northern Arizona woman earlier this year.

On Thursday, the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office announced that William DalCerro, 58, and Cavett Richards, 36, have been charged with the murder of Shayna Feinman, 35. However, authorities confirmed that Feinman’s body has not been found.

On March 18, deputies said they responded to a missing person report in the Hyde Park neighborhood of Seligman.

Police thought Feinman was going to a friend’s house but she never showed up. A neighbor hadn’t heard from Feinman since March 8 and realized she was missing when she didn’t pick up her dog from the neighbor’s house.

Authorities say the neighbor found Feinman’s vehicle with her personal belongings, including her wallet and ID, not far from the home where she and her boyfriend, Richards, were staying.

During the investigation, police uncovered evidence linking the two men to Feinman’s murder. Details of that evidence have not been released.

Arizona’s family has already spoken to a witness who recounted the strange circumstances surrounding Feinman’s disappearance. The witness said several people, including Feinman’s boyfriend, have refused to cooperate with the investigation.

The witness said the official search of the property was conducted two weeks after authorities reported her disappearance, but she said that before that, Feinman’s boyfriend had not helped or said much about her disappearance.

Both men are charged with second-degree murder, concealment of a body and conspiracy. They are currently being held at the Yavapai County Detention Center.

Detectives also discovered that DalCerro and Richards were linked to several other alleged crimes, including weapons offenses, tampering with evidence and possession of a stolen vehicle.
