Video shows car plowed into Phoenix home

A harrowing video captured the moment a car plowed through the living room of a Phoenix home as a couple sat down to eat.

Marcus Holmberg and Sabrina Rivera were in the living room with three of their four dogs when an out-of-control Mustang crashed through their wall, throwing them both backward.

Rivera, who was near the couch closest to the wall before the crash, was thrown against the wall, apparently struck by the car.

Almost the entire wall was demolished, with rubble and debris falling all around them, but Rivera and Holmberg suffered only minor scratches and injuries.

“It was like a bomb went off,” Holmberg told 12News. “She came flying in and it was there.”

“It happened so fast. It was so explosive.”

The dogs were unharmed, Holmberg shared on his TikTok account.

The 18-year-old driver of the Mustang, who police said was intoxicated at the time of the crash, has been arrested.

But the couple still has a long way to go. In addition to repairs to their house, Holmberg also had to pay for repairs to his truck.
