Two stabbed in Washington incident, one dead

WASHINGTON, DC — Washington DC police are investigating a fatal stabbing in Northeast Washington on Sunday afternoon that left one man dead and another injured.

On September 1, at approximately 2:53 p.m., Sixth District police officers responded to calls for a stabbing in the 900 block of Division Avenue, Northeast. Before officers arrived, a 23-year-old man suffering from stab wounds ran to the Sixth District police station for help. He was then transported by D.C. Fire and EMS to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead after life-saving efforts were unsuccessful.

The deceased was identified as Gray Hall, a resident of northeast Washington.

A second victim, an adult female, was found at the scene of the incident on Division Avenue with stab wounds. She was taken to an area hospital by D.C. Fire and EMS to be treated for non-life threatening injuries.

MPD is actively investigating the incident and encourages anyone with information to contact police at (202) 727-9099 or text tips to 50411. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction in this homicide.

  • Virginia police announce arrest of man wanted in Labor Day weekend murder

    VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. — A 25-year-old man has been arrested and charged with second-degree murder in the death of a 66-year-old Virginia Beach resident.

    Officers with the Virginia Beach Police Department responded to a death investigation in the 3000 block of Roebling Lane on Sunday, September 1, at approximately 3:50 p.m. When they arrived, they found Scott Seitz, 66, deceased at the scene.

    After an initial investigation, police arrested Seth Seitz, 25, also of Virginia Beach, and charged him with the murder of Scott Seitz. Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances of the incident.

    The investigation is ongoing.

  • Maryland police seek help in locating missing elderly man

    GLEN BURNIE, Md. — The Anne Arundel County Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating Robert Bell Sr., 86, who has been missing since Aug. 30 and may be in need of assistance.

    Mr. Bell is described as a white male, 6 feet 11 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds. He was last seen wearing a purple Ravens jersey and gray pants. He left his residence in the 7000 block of Aviation Road in Glen Burnie around 10 a.m. on Aug. 30.

    Authorities believe Bell was driving a silver 2006 Nissan Frontier pickup truck with Maryland license plate 8AS3012. His vehicle was last seen in the area of ​​US-40 and North Payson Street in Baltimore around 6:30 p.m. that day.

    Anyone with information on Mr. Bell’s whereabouts is asked to call or text 911. Police are concerned for his safety and well-being.
