Will there be a fourth “A Quiet Place” movie?

A quiet place: first day showed the horrific origins of the silent monsters that were introduced in 2017 A quiet place and follow-up, A Quiet Place, Part IIThe prequel starred Joseph Quinn and Lupita Nyong’o as they find themselves at the center of the alien attack that takes over the planet.

Considering how the universe has expanded and progressed over the years, it wouldn’t be unheard of for another story or standalone film to be on the horizon. After all, we’ve only really seen a very small subsection of the world deal with the invasion. At the end of A Quiet Place, Part IIThe survivors meet on an island off the east coast, and Day 1 Writer-director Michael Sarnoski thinks there might be more story to tell here.

“I mean, certainly a good portion of those people probably ended up on the island that we see in A Quiet Place Part II,” he told The Hollywood Reporter. That could mean more stories (and maybe more Frodo the Cat?). He continued, “I think there’s a good chance they’re there, and there’s certainly a good chance we’ll see them again.”

While nothing is set in stone yet, Sarnoski sees the possibility. He told The Economic Times: “I think Paramount would be really excited to see where they end up. I don’t think there are any very specific plans. But I wouldn’t be surprised if it happened. So it’s a very vague, unofficial teaser of a sequel.”

A Quiet Place: Day One is now streaming on Paramount+.
