‘No winners’ in Milligan tribunal controversy, says Sligo councillor

A Sligo councillor has said there are no winners in the recent housing dispute at Milligan Court and called on the Government to develop student-friendly buildings.

It has been confirmed that around 180 asylum seekers will be housed in the premises, which were previously used for students.

The situation has sparked major controversy due to the lack of housing options for students, leading some to consider deferring their university studies.
