Suspect caught on camera assaulting homeless man sleeping outside Fresno business

FRESNO, Calif. (KFSN) — A search is underway for a suspect who attacked a homeless man in Fresno’s Tower neighborhood last month.

The attack occurred around 2 a.m. on Monday, August 26, in the area of ​​Olive and Maroa avenues.

Fresno police said a 47-year-old man was sleeping outside a business when someone began kicking him in the head.

Authorities say surveillance footage from a nearby business showed a man attacking the victim.

The suspect fled after the attack and has not yet been identified.

The victim was taken to hospital with serious head injuries.
