TASTE Food and Arts Festival Returns, What You Need to Know

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS) — A food and arts festival will be held at the Shreveport Convention Center on Sept. 26 to support Holy Angels, an organization dedicated to serving people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

According to the press release, the 43rd annual TASTE Festival will feature live entertainment, complimentary wine, beer and champagne from the “bubble bar” with more than 40 restaurant vendors and a silent auction.

The event benefits Holy Angels, which provides work readiness training and job placement to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

According to the website, the musical performance features Rouge Krewe (winners of The Knot Best of Weddings and Couples Choice Awards in 2022) on the SRES stage and a live cooking demonstration.

Tickets are $100, and the event costs $85 for first responders, military personnel or teachers. The event will take place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.

The press release states that the silent auction will begin on September 19 and that attendees are encouraged to participate by registering their credit card details, making the bidding process “quick and easy.” Bidding assistance will be available at the event.
