Thiago Motta chooses the new Juventus senators – The five captains revealed

Juventus will reportedly have five new captains and dressing room leaders under Thiago Motta.

The club’s squad underwent a major overhaul over the summer, with many household names leaving the club in the previous months, and they were replaced by eight new signings, in addition to several Next Gen starlets being promoted to the first team.

The newly formed squad therefore needs new leadership, especially after the departure of former senators such as Alex Sandro, Wojciech Szczesny and Adrien Rabiot.

Danilo, meanwhile, has been the club’s official captain since Leonardo Bonucci’s departure last summer, but his role has diminished considerably with Motta in charge, earning just five minutes in the first three matchdays of the season.

So, according to The Gazzetta dello Sport via JuventusNews24A new leadership has emerged in Continassa.

The pink newspaper names five Juventus stars who will act as the new leaders of the dressing room and could share the captain’s armband throughout the season.

Federico Gatti is the most obvious name on the list as he wore the armband for the first three games of the season.

However, Motta hinted that others could also serve as captains during the campaign.

The source therefore believes that Gleison Bremer could be one of them after establishing himself as a true senator of the club.

The same goes for Dusan Vlahovic, Andrea Cambiaso and Manuel Locatelli who showed character and leadership on the pitch and in the locker room.
