Ashley Tisdale Reveals ‘Zen’ Motherhood and the Realities of Giving Birth to Her Daughter

Ashley Tisdale keeps it real!

On Thursday, September 12, the 39-year-old actress shared a post about the realities of welcoming a newborn after welcoming her second baby with husband Christopher French earlier this month.

Sharing a photo of herself in a maternity ward during labor, Tisdale — who welcomed daughter Emerson Clover on September 6 — wrote on her Instagram Stories, “@buddywporter did my blow dry the night before I gave birth, I was like, ‘I want to look good when this baby comes out.'”

“But of course we never know how labor is going to go and after having to rotate to keep the baby’s heart rate up I put my hair in a bun and threw up on myself,” she continued with a laughing face emoji. “So let’s be realistic and not try too hard sometimes lol.”

Tisdale also shared a carousel of photos from her hospital stay. Beginning with the same photo of herself sitting on a birthing ball, the carousel also included a video of the maternity ward decorated with candles while French, 42, and Tisdale’s doula, Lori Bregman, stood nearby.

Tisdale then shared a close-up of some products from her wellness brand, Being Frenshe, on a nightstand next to a framed photo of her late dog Maui.

Other photos included the view from his hospital room and a few more candles scattered around the room.

Crediting her doula for transforming the room for her, Tisdale captioned the post, “@lbreggy made my labor a magical zen space, just like we’ve done before. This time we had @beingfrenshe’s palo santo collection with us, so our room smelled the best 😊.”

THE The High School Musical A former student announced the birth of her second daughter on Saturday, September 7.

“Emerson Clover French, we are all three obsessed with you,” Tisdale wrote, sharing a black-and-white photo of herself, French, and their 3-year-old daughter, Jupiter Iris, holding the newborn’s hand. “She landed 9.6.24 🍀.”

“Thank you for bringing this beautiful creature into the world and our family @ashleytisdale you are a superhero I love you so much,” French wrote in the comments section, while Hilary Duff added, “Congratulations Ash ❤️.”

The following day, she and French celebrated their 10th wedding anniversary, with Tisdale sharing an Instagram post calling the musician the “love of my life.”
