Man charged with capital murder after Harvest shooting

HARVEST, Ala. (WAFF) – A man has been charged with capital murder following a deadly shooting Thursday evening in the harvest.

According to the Madison County Sheriff’s Office, the incident happened at Silver Poplar Place.

Authorities said the victim was taken to Huntsville Hospital where he later died of his injuries.

Brent Patterson of MCSO said the suspect has been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting. A preliminary investigation suggests the shooting was the result of domestic violence.

MCSO identified the suspect as Carrandas Oshay Jackson. He is being held without bail at the Madison County Jail.
