Murray State Announces Renovation Plans for CFSB Center

MURRAY, Ky. (KFVS) – The Murray State Racers have announced plans to renovate the CFSB Center.

According to MSU, the eight-figure project is focused on recruiting and revenue generation and will be funded privately through donations.

Spectators will see a complete overhaul of the seating structure in the lower level of the arena, including seat upgrades and the lower bowl becoming permanent horseshoe-shaped seating, transitioning from the current retractable bleacher system currently in place with the exception of the student section to allow for additional ancillary events such as university graduations, concerts and more.

For the first time in Murray State history, fans will be able to attend a game from the comfort of 1,000 premium seats that will be installed. Concept plans also include premium boxes throughout the upper seating bowl that would create a world-class gameday experience while providing luxurious and private spaces for entertainment, while additional rim seating and new courtside opportunities will bring fans closer to the action.

As part of the planned renovation plans, Murray State is considering adding a first-of-its-kind fieldside bunker clubhouse so patrons can watch the game in an upscale setting right on the baseline.
