Finland has announced plans to deliver its 25th military aid package to Ukraine, according to a press release from the Defense Ministry on Friday.

The value of this batch of defense equipment is estimated at 118 million euros. Since the Russian invasion, the total amount of Finnish military aid to Ukraine amounts to 2.3 billion euros, the ministry said.

“Developments in the war in Ukraine continue to be serious. As promised, Finland will continue to provide material assistance. Our message to partner countries is that we must not give up,” the Minister of Defence said. Antti Häkkänen said in the statement.

As with previous announcements about the military aid program, the department did not disclose the contents, delivery method or timing of its latest shipment of military equipment, citing operational concerns and to ensure its safe arrival.

“The needs of Ukraine and the resources of the defense forces were taken into account when deciding on additional assistance,” the Defense Ministry said in a statement.
