Taylor & Travis-Inspired Beer Is Creating a ‘Big Buzz’ in Kansas City. Here’s How to Get It

Fans of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s romance can now toast the couple, thanks to Crane Brewing Co.

Raytown Brewery, located at 6515 Railroad St., released a Tayvis-themed beer on Friday (the 13th — Swift’s lucky number).

To avoid legal trouble, you won’t see Swift or Kelce’s names or images on Crane’s new “TNT” beer cans. But the heart-shaped hands and friendship bracelets on the front might give it away.

Additionally, Swift was spotted wearing a “TNT” bracelet at the AFC Championship game earlier this year, so the name itself should be a giveaway.

Swifties seem to have gotten the message, said Alex Rodriguez, the brewery’s director of operations.

“It’s generated a lot of buzz on social media, a lot of reactions here,” he said.

Within minutes of the kickoff, a sizable line of Swifties and Chiefs fans began forming at the brewery. (“So far, so good,” Rodriguez noted.)

Swifties reacted positively to the brewery’s teasers on social media earlier this month.

“I’m so ready for this,” one user wrote.

Tayvis beer is a blond beer infused with passion fruit puree. The result is a sweet and tropical flavor.

“It’s very attractive even to people who don’t like beer,” Rodríguez said. “We’re all very proud of it.”

For now, the beer can only be purchased at the brewery, but Rodriguez hopes to expand production soon. Crane Brewing sells its other beers at a handful of liquor stores on both sides of the border, he said.

Every season, the Chiefs brew a new beer to celebrate the occasion. This year, they decided to create one that would pay tribute to the city’s most famous couple.

“We’re kind of playing on the big world stage right now, centered around Kansas City,” he said.

This isn’t Crane’s first time dabbling in pop culture. Last year, the brewery hosted a Ted Lasso-themed pop-up bar.

TNT is available on tap, as well as for purchase in cans or by the case. Crane is open from 11am to 10pm Monday through Saturday and 11am to 7pm Sunday.
