Popular post-apocalyptic open-world indie game ‘would never have existed’ without Fallout: New Vegas

Caravan SandWitch doesn’t feel like a typical Bethesda or Obsidian RPG, but after learning that it’s set in a post-apocalyptic open world that hasn’t lost its humor, it’s no surprise that it was at least partially inspired by Fallout: New Vegas.

You may remember Caravan SandWitch as the “hopeful” open-world indie game whose protagonist is accidentally modeled after Family Guy’s Lois Griffin – much to the shock and horror of the developer – but alongside the animated sitcom, it also takes inspiration from the Mojave Desert.
