Ireland braces for Indian summer with temperatures set to soar

Temperatures are expected to soar early next week as an Indian summer is expected across Ireland.

Early next week, Met Éireann predicts temperatures will reach up to 23°C, following a week of temperatures around 10°C lower.

A warmer air system is expected to arrive later this weekend, with sunny spells expected in many locations.

Things will start to get milder from tomorrow, with Met Eireann’s forecast for Saturday showing temperatures of between 14 and 17 degrees – albeit with generally cloudy conditions.

Temperatures on Sunday are expected to rise to between 15 and 19 degrees, with sunny spells and isolated showers expected.

Monday and Tuesday are expected to be sunny days, with maximum temperatures currently between 18 and 21 degrees.
