Air India flight cancellation disrupts passengers’ plans

Air India on Friday cancelled its flight from Ho Chi Minh City to the national capital due to operational issues, affecting many passengers. The airline is working to fly passengers to Delhi at the earliest, offering options such as cancellation with full refund and free rescheduling to another date.

In a statement, an Air India spokesperson confirmed that flight AI389, scheduled for September 13, 2024, had been cancelled due to operational reasons. He noted that the passengers had been provided with hotel accommodation.

A source revealed that a technical problem with the aircraft and the crew following it, which had exceeded its flight schedule, had led to the cancellation. The spokesperson expressed regret for the inconvenience caused to passengers due to this unforeseen disruption.
