“His arrival coincides with the purchase of the house by Kurt Barlow (William Sadler), a former vampire using his human familiar Richard Straker (Pilou Asbæk) to divert the town’s citizens.

The breathtaking trailer sees Pullman’s character, Ben, return to his hometown of Jerusalem’s Lot to investigate the strange goings-on in the area.

“I’ve always written stories about things so terrible that you run away from them until your brain can’t remember them,” he confesses to a young university graduate.

During his interview with the local priest, Ben soon learns that things are not as they seem.

“There are some people who have had somewhat unusual experiences,” reveals a tense Father Callahan (John Benjamin Hickey), before a group of vampires begins to take over the town.

Later, Ben hears a thud coming from a coffin, while a corpse unexpectedly comes back to life in the coroner’s office.

“Things have gone bad in the Lot now,” admits one resident, as chaos continues to erupt. “You have no idea what you’re getting into here.”

Later, Ben creates a ragtag group to fight the evil presence, only to be confronted by a mob of angry vampires who attempt to kidnap him.
