London: Woman charged with murder of Tower Hamlets woman | UK News

A woman has been charged with the murder of another woman in London.

Officers were called to the Tower Hamlets area of ​​the city at around 1.17am on Sunday.

The Metropolitan Police received reports that a woman had been stabbed in the foyer of a building on Duckett Street.

London The ambulance service was also present at the scene, but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene.

Hope Rowe, 32, has been charged with murder and is due to appear at Thames Magistrates’ Court on Monday morning.

She was also charged with possession of a sharp object.

The official identification of the deceased has not yet taken place, but police believe she is Charlotte Lawler, 31.

His relatives have been informed and are receiving support from trained agents.

A 37-year-old man, previously arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on bail.

Police said they are not looking for anyone else in connection with their investigation at this time.

Commissioner Mike Cagney had previously said his thoughts were with the victim’s family “at this very difficult time.”
