Ready to be crowned SM Super Spelling Bee champion?

SM Supermalls is hosting the Philippines’ largest spelling bee, with the aim of boosting literacy and supporting young Filipinos by revitalizing their love for spelling. Free registration is open starting today until October 11, 2024 for children aged 9 to 11 in grades 4 to 6. The preliminary rounds will be held on September 27, October 4, and October 11 at 40 SM Supermalls nationwide.

Parents or guardians of interested children can pre-register for the contest via the SM Malls Online app. Simply look for the SM Super Spelling Bee application form and proceed to register via the app. Guardians can also pre-register in person at the Mall Administration Office of the participating SM Supermalls branch of their choice.

Teachers and educators may register their students provided that the forms are duly signed by the student’s parent or guardian prior to submission.

To complete the registration requirements, be sure to present an original copy and a photocopy of the valid school ID card of the participating child, either during the actual elimination for online applications or when submitting in person at the mall administration office.

Walk-in registrations will also be accepted on elimination round days, but please note that the deadline for these on-site registrations ends at 12:00 p.m.

The SM Super Spelling Bee will hold preliminary rounds every Friday from September 27 to October 11 at 40 SM Malls nationwide.

The top contestants will advance to the grand finale at SM Mall of Asia, where they can win exciting prizes. The elimination round winners will receive prizes worth over Php20,000 from SM Supermalls, Jollibee, and National Book Store, while the grand prize winner includes up to Php50,000 in cash and SM gift certificates, Php150,000 in National Book Store gift certificates, Php10,000 in Jollibee gift certificates, a new laptop from the Power Mac Center, and tuition discounts from the National University (NU).
