A future at the general hospital for Chavez?

When news broke in the fall of 2023 that Chavez had landed his Monsters As for his role, the actor was only supposed to take a break from GH and his role as Spencer. In January of this year, Spencer was presumed dead after Esme injected him with a drug and the two characters dove off a boat into the Seine.

Spencer and Esme were presumed dead, and Spencer’s girlfriend Trina was forced to grieve and move on without him. In May, Chavez took to X (formerly Twitter) to announce that he had officially left the soap world.

Chavez did, however, admit that there was always a possibility he could return to GH later.

“While there are currently no plans to return, we are still very openly discussing future possibilities for Spencer in Port Charles,” Chavez tweeted.

It remains to be seen whether Chavez will ever reprise Spencer, but for now, his fans can see him in two completely different roles in Monsters And Grotesquerie.
