,000 reward offered for arrest of man wanted in Loop Bank robbery

A $1,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of a man wanted for robbing a bank Monday in the Loop.

The Citibank in the 100 block of North Michigan Avenue was robbed around 9:50 a.m. Monday, according to the Federal Bureau of Investigation.

During the robbery, a man aged 30 to 40 allegedly held up a note demanding money and implied he had a handgun, authorities said.

Authorities describe him as a white male, between 5 feet 6 inches and 5 feet 7 inches tall, of medium build, wearing a black and white hooded sweatshirt with black pants and shoes.

Authorities declined to say how much money was stolen in the robbery.
