After One Piece confirmed Joe Manganiello as Crocodile, there's one character I really hope he shares scenes with in season 2.

One piece Season 2 is currently in production and the show is slowly making big announcements to keep fans eager to binge-watch with a Netflix subscription. It’s safe to say that people are more excited than ever after the latest reveal that Joe Manganiello will be playing Mr. 0, also known as Crocodile. I’m excited to see the actor play the iconic villain and hope to see him cross paths with a specific character.

There is already so much to look forward to One piece After recently seeing Chopper for the first time, I’m left hoping for something more. That said, in a season where we’re already treated to top-notch casting like Katey Sagal as Dr. Kureha and David Dastmalchian as Mr. 3, why not shoot for the stars? If Crocodile shows up in Season 2, can we get a scene or two where he meets Buggy?

I need Crocodile and Buggy to interact in season 2

Captain Buggy has always been a remarkable character One piecebut he got his chance to shine in Netflix’s live-action adaptation. The character stuck around with the Straw Hats much longer than he did in the animated adaptation of the showdown with Arlong, and we already know there’s a good chance he’ll reappear when the Straw Hats head to the Grand Line. The question is, will he get a chance to rub shoulders with the Baroque Works syndicate and its leader, Mr. 0?

I would love to see this happen, especially considering how Jeff Ward crushed the role of Buggy in live-action. He got a bit more screen time in this adaptation, and since we know this version of One piece isn’t beyond differing from the anime/manga and giving characters like Kobe and Helmeppo extra scenes, it’s possible that this could happen.

The two didn’t meet until much later in the anime, but later crossed paths

There’s a reason to introduce Crocodile and Buggy to each other earlier if Netflix One piece I want to do that. Without getting into too many spoilers, they first meet in the Impel Down arc and later end up in what is called the “Cross Guild”. I’ll leave those who haven’t reached that part of the manga or anime hanging on what this fully entails, but I will note that it was mentioned when Jeff Ward and Joe Manganiello were on stage together during the announcement:

There would be good reason to expect at least one encounter scene between Buggy and Crocodile in the live-action series. At the same time, Crocodile’s reputation as one of the Seven Sea Lords makes him one of the most dangerous figures in the pirate world and is not to be taken lightly.

Buggy doesn’t tend to look for trouble he can’t handle, so if he does run into Crocodile, I’m guessing it would 100% be by accident. Ultimately, I’m not sure we’ll see them in a scene together anytime soon, but I hope this show gets enough seasons that we can eventually see it happen.
