Delta Air Lines is helping Boston travelers discover Milan and Barcelona next year with new nonstop flights that will take off in summer 2025.

The routes are part of Delta’s largest summer transatlantic schedule ever, announced Friday. Next summer, Delta will offer more than 700 weekly flights to 33 destinations in Europe and beyond.

Delta’s new Boston-Milan route “fills a critical gap as the largest European market not served by Boston,” according to a press release. The Milan route will operate four times a week, and the Barcelona route three times a week.

“Delta has been a great partner to Logan for many years and we are excited about their new routes to Milan and Barcelona as part of their transatlantic expansion in summer 2025,” Ed Freni, Massport’s chief aviation officer, said in a statement. “These new services will provide our passengers with more travel options and further strengthen our connections between New England and the many regions of Europe.”

The airline also announced new direct service between Boston and Bozeman, Montana, which will begin in December ahead of ski season.

Delta also announced it will open a Delta One lounge at Logan International Airport by next summer. The lounge will offer “an exclusive and luxurious setting” for Delta One and other eligible customers, the airline said. Lounges will also open at Los Angeles International Airport and Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. The first Delta One lounge opened at John F. Kennedy International Airport in June.
