Tragic incident in factory: Worker electrocuted in Bhiwandi

A 65-year-old worker was electrocuted at a factory in Bhiwandi in Thane district of Maharashtra, police said on Saturday.

The victim, identified as Ramsevak Bindeshwar Mandal, was working in a powerloom unit in Devjinagar when he suffered an electric shock on Friday, according to an official of Narpoli police station.

Mandal was rushed to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead by doctors. Authorities have registered a case of accidental death in connection with the incident.
