James Middleton ‘Million Dollar Role Offer After Kate and William’s Wedding Reading’

The Princess of Wales’ brother has revealed that following his performance at his sister’s wedding in 2011, he was offered a lead role in his own film.

Kate Middleton’s brother James Middleton has written a book about how his dog helped him recover from severe depression and, in an interview with The Times of London In an article published in the newspaper, he referred to his performance at the ceremony at Westminster Abbey, watched by an audience of hundreds of millions around the world, as a particular achievement for him after being diagnosed with dyslexia as a child.

Middleton said The Times that after his Bible reading at the wedding was broadcast, an American production company contacted him to offer him a lead role in their own film, with an opening offer of $1 million.

Middleton added in her guestbook: “They even suggested that members of my extended family might want to attend.”

In the interview, he explained why he wanted to deliver the Bible discourse, despite the difficulties he had in reading his entire life.

“I had never seen a royal wedding. There had never been one in my life. Not a big wedding anyway. I didn’t realize the magnitude of it or the global interest. I just felt privileged that my sister would ask me to do it, and it meant something to her. I wanted to make sure I did it.”
