North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson set to hold meeting at Fayetteville Motor Speedway amid scandal

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. (WTVD) — North Carolina Lt. Gov. Mark Robinson is expected to be at Fayetteville Motor Speedway Saturday night.

He is organizing a meet-up on site from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to the venue’s Facebook page.

The Carlton Lamm Memorial Run will also take place at the circuit. Tickets will be on sale at the gate.

It will be Robinson’s first public appearance following a CNN report about his alleged posts on a porn website forum.

Robinson denied writing the messages, which contained obscene and racist comments, saying Thursday he would not be coerced into dropping out of the race by “salacious tabloid lies.”
