Pune police arrested a minor in possession of a country-made pistol in connection with several crimes after receiving a tip-off. Investigation is underway.

Pune police on Sunday arrested a minor who was found in possession of a firearm and is linked to several criminal cases. The arrest was made after the authorities received a tip-off that the minor was carrying a firearm. Acting on the tip-off, a team of Bharti Vidyapeeth police laid a trap and arrested a suspect from the area.

During their search, the police found a domestically made pistol worth ₹35,000. According to the police, the accused came to the area to meet his friend and fell into the police net. A case has been registered at Bharti Vidyapeeth police station under the relevant sections and further investigation is underway.
