Passengers frustrated by train delays, cancellations in Marathwada | Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar News

Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar:A day after the cancellation of the Dharmabad-Manmad Marathwada Express, the Nanded-Panvel Express and Adilabad-Nanded Express trains were delayed by 3.5 hours and 1.5 hours respectively on Sunday. Official reports say that the Nanded-Amritsar Sachkhand Express, Nanded-Jammu Tawi Humsafar Express and Nanded-Adilabad Express routes have also been facing delays recently. The Marathwada Express had been cancelled between the Dharmabad and Nanded section on Saturday.
When contacted, a spokesperson for SCR Nanded division said the delay in the running of twin trains has led to changes in the departure and arrival timings of several trains. “The punctuality of train operations is reviewed periodically by the higher authorities. We are constantly striving to ensure punctual running of trains,” he said.
