Elle King is pregnant and expecting her second child with Daniel Tooke

Elle King is ready to expand her family with the addition of a baby boy.

On Monday, September 23, the “Ex’s & Oh’s” singer announced that she is pregnant and expecting another son with her partner. Daniel Tooker.

“Double down 💙,” King, 35, wrote via Instagram alongside a video of the couple finding out they’re expecting another boy after blue confetti filled the room at their gender reveal party.

The couple’s 3-year-old son Lucky Levi was part of the celebration and was seen waving to the camera as blue balloons appeared in the photo.

King and Tooker, 33, began dating in 2019 and got engaged a year later. Their path to parenthood was fraught with challenges, as the country singer suffered multiple miscarriages before becoming pregnant with their rainbow baby.

Less than two years after welcoming her first child, King sparked breakup rumors when she performed at the Stagecoach Music Festival in May 2023 wearing a jacket that read “single.” The Grammy nominee eventually reconciled with Tooker.

“We’re back together,” King said People in an interview published Wednesday, September 18. “We had to grow up. I don’t know. I’ll try everything twice.”

She continued: “It’s worth trying. It’s worth erasing everything. It’s worth all the effort in the world. My family, that’s what’s worth all the energy and all the effort.”

King previously made headlines in January after performing while drunk and shouting profanities at a crowd at a family function. Dolly Parton Birthday tribute concert in Nashville. Shortly after the performance, the singer announced that she was focusing on her personal development.

Today, King believes she has worked on herself to become a better parent and a better individual.

In addition to preparing to welcome another baby, King is wrapping up his Baby Daddy’s Weekend tour with upcoming dates in Georgia and Kentucky.

She is also scheduled to perform at the 2024 Evolution Festival in Missouri on Sunday, September 29.
