Authorities finally captured the last bull out of eight that escaped a rodeo in North Attleborough, the North Attleborough Fire Department said on Monday.

Video from WBZ News shows multiple police cars tailing the bull as it slows down on the road.

Another video posted to social media platform X (formerly Twitter) shows an unidentified man approaching the bull, seemingly attempting to calm it down. Then, the video shows the bull charges at the man, knocking him over.

All eight bulls ran from the rodeo Sunday afternoon, leaping over fences as they ran through a parking lot, a statement from the department said. In a video taken at the rodeo, one person can be heard shouting “Everybody at the entrance, move” as bystanders hurry away from the animals.

Authorities quickly caught one bull, while rodeo workers and North Attleborough authorities searched for the remaining seven, the statement said. Authorities said they later caught six bulls around 4:30 pm at a home on Prescott Street on Sunday.

People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA, said rodeos like the one in North Attleborough “put animal torment at center stage.” A statement from the organization said there have been two other similar incidents with bulls this year, one at a rodeo in Oregon and one at a county fair in Utah.
