West El Paso Mansion With Stunning Views Hits Market for $2.85 Million

West El Paso Mansion With Stunning Views Hits Market for .85 Million

Imagine spectacular views of El Paso’s desert landscape, highlighted by the most breathtaking sunsets from your hotel-sized infinity pool – the crystal blue sky reflecting in the water as the sun sinks below the horizon.

The incredible view is one of the highlights of 323 Coral Sky Lane, nestled in a gated community in West El Paso. It’s now on the market for $2.85 million. It’s one of the most expensive homes for sale in Sun City, built from the ground up by Jerome and Maira Garcia.

“It’s just captivating,” said Jerome Garcia. “You never get tired of that view. I could sit there for hours.”

The luxurious mansion, affectionately known as “casa las ventanas” by its owners, features 6,350 square feet of high ceilings, open spaces and huge windows to capture the beauty of the Borderland.

The ground was raised 25 feet to provide a 360-degree panoramic view.

“In every room you will be amazed,” said Maira Garcia. “In the master bedroom you have the valley; in the office you have the mountain and you can see Cristo Rey and Juárez. There is a view in every room.”

Before the pandemic, the Garcias dreamed of a modern marvel they could move into; Maira had a vision and drew up the plans herself, she said.

“I started doing a first draft of the plans,” she said. “When I took it to the architect, he said, ‘Wow, it’s 98 percent done.’”

The home was built with passion, but with its challenges: Construction was underway when the pandemic hit. Lumber and material costs skyrocketed, and eventually, Garcia’s builder ran out of funds for the property.

“We took on the construction over the last eight months by negotiating with different contractors and finding that we could trust them,” said Jerome Garcia. “I rolled up my sleeves and actually got to work.”

Despite the setbacks, the Garcias’ dream came true: a modern home on just over an acre of desert land, featuring four bedrooms, six bathrooms, a sauna, a home gym and a sleek kitchen unlike any other, with an oversized island made of quartzite quarried in Brazil.

“You won’t see that anywhere in El Paso,” Jerome Garcia said. “Plus, the kitchen is in this room where you can see the view.”

The home’s cutting-edge features contribute to its multimillion-dollar price tag, and real estate agent Jorge Llorens said interest is growing not just from El Paso residents.

“We’re not just targeting El Paso, but other large cities around it,” Llorens said. “Some areas that consumers might be interested in are Dallas, Austin, San Antonio, etc.”

As for the home’s next owner, the husband and wife agree: 323 Coral Sky should be purchased by someone who appreciates their vision and what El Paso offers.

“I would love to see a family there, or someone who loves being in touch with nature and appreciates it,” Maira Garcia said.
